BAPTISMS
Baptism is the rite of initiation into the church and is therefore an important step whether taken in adulthood or as a young child or baby. It involves a declaration of faith and commitment to the Christian life and belonging to the Christian community. These promises are made either by the person being baptised if they are an adult, or by the parents and godparents on behalf of a baby or child.

If you would like to discuss the possibility of a baptism or thanksgiving service please contact the Parish Office and Revd Alice using the form below. We will arrange to meet with you to talk through baptism preparation and the baptism vows.

If you don't already, we recommend you start attending Sunday services to get to know the church community, and as a continuing part of your faith journey.

Twice a month, on a Monday morning, a small group for babies and parents or carers meet in the Vicarage. This is particularly for those babies or toddlers preparing for baptism or who have recently been baptised. After time to chat and play with toys, there is a simple Bible story and some songs. If you are interested in knowing more please get in touch with Revd Alice.
